An NFT influencer who goes by the pseudonym Cozomo de’ Medici has donated 22 Web3 artworks to the Los Angeles County Museum of Artwork (LACMA). The influencer made the announcement on February 14 by way of his official Twitter account. The paintings options creations by 13 digital artists, together with Dmitri Cherniak, a generative artist, and NFT pioneers, Larva Labs.
In a Twitter thread, de’ Medici notes that he hopes the donation will spotlight the significance of digital artwork items, which can now get the prospect to sit down subsequent to legendary works by renown artists corresponding to Pablo Picasso, Andy Warhol, and Georgia O’Keefe. The donation, which includes a precious CryptoPunks NFT, has been met with enthusiasm from LACMA. Michael Govan, the CEO of the museum, notes that this donation permits them to showcase the intersection of artwork and expertise.
